Watercolour and fine-liner pen on 300gsm watercolour paper, 2022 - Current

I’ve loved the art of bonsai ever since I saw them on The Karate Kid, but I found out the hard way that I’m better at painting them than keeping them alive. That’s okay though.
This series started as a personal project, but grew into something more after I posted a few photos online. I received requests from people wanting a portrait of their bonsai, and from others wanting prints of the ones I had already done. This was my first serious look into making high-quality prints of my work, and my goodness it was a steep learning curve.
